After High School Pete played at Sacramento City College for the great Jerry Weinstein and Paul Carmazzi earning All-League and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pete earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Kentucky playing two years in the SEC. After his Senior year at Kentucky, he was drafted and signed with the Chicago White Sox. After his professional playing time ended, he returned to the University of Kentucky where he helped coach while earning his master's degree. Shaq Robinson
HEAD COACH

Kenny McKechnie
12U Coach
Played locally at Christian Brothers High School and competed for the Division 1 title in '88. Played Post 61 for summer-ball. After CB went to AR for a year before transferring to Sac City. Was part of the 91 team that only lost 3 games all year. Unfortunately, 2 of the losses came in States. After City attended Sacramento State on a baseball scholarship. Completed my education with a degree in Communications.
I have coached many levels of baseball and softball from little league to high school and plenty of travel ball over my years. My main drive is to find a way for players to enjoy the game and learn to play it. I coach for the love of the game.
Married with 4 children all who are active in sports.
